Where can I get a shift knob?
It's been a year since my restoration, and I cannot find a stock/original shift knob. Used or New.
Does anyone have a source?
One for sale?
It's so frustrating.

Centerline has repro ones, and I bet APE has boxes of them.

Basically unavailable in the UK at the moment - there is a hiatus in local manufacture, but some suppliers in Italy/Germany still list it at a slightly eye-watering price if you can't find one in the US...

IAP lists new 1750/2000 ones in their catalog; maybe they're in fact out.

Whatever you get, don't get one of these. They get loose and are a POS.

Hi there.
My 1972 GT 1300 Junior has the three spoke wooden steering wheel and the black shiftknob.
Does anybody know if there was an original wooden shift knob to match the wooden steering wheel?

Stephanos:
I can say with about 95% certainty that "no, Alfa never offered a wood shift knob to match the wood steering wheel". Early 4-cylinder Alfas have black plastic knobs (like the ones shown in Willie R's post above), while the later cars had a very hard plastic (perhaps ceramic) knob that had sort of a faux wood finish - with wear and sun fading, these would lose their surface coating and appear as a sort of yellow/tan.
Some of the previous threads in this post have pointed to sources for aftermarket knobs.
