Looks like you are right.Just googled his name,Saab,Peugeot
and from what I can see was credited as one of the first to bring Alfa to Austrailia. He also was the winner of the 1960 Australian Grand Prix

Hi Patrick
My 1971 GTV #AR1532239 ( Metallic light Grey ) is no longer amongst the living.
It was to far gone but hopefully its heart will beat again in another.
It was a quick and merciful death

Hi Patrick:
New car to me:
Chassis Number: AR1532874
Date of Manufacture: 8/25/71
Model: 105/51
Factory Color: 342 French Blue (unfortunately now a lousy red paint job)
Location First Sold: Newark, USA
Location (current): Southern California
Owner: Gene
Special Notes: Mostly original condition with the exception of a really lousy paint job. We think of it as a driving project car for my son and I and are improving everything we touch but are not trying for a 100% restoration.
If you'd like to include a photo of your car in your post here, the better.

Tom, I don't understand your chassis number; the first three are obviously model number: 115.03, can I assume that the chassis number is 2202408, based on what other 1600 GT Jr. cars are numbered? I likewise can't figure out the build date; please give me the month, day, and year. Thanks.
All other cars have been added; thank you, gentlemen.

Hi,
Just to clarify your entry for 105.35 #246405, we traded it to a Bob Rajkey (sp?) of San Diego, CA for a 1900 CSS.
I'd love to know where it is if anyone knows. Car was modified with steel rear flares to mimic the GTA rear flares, and the fuel filler cap was moved into the trunk and the fuel filler door was filled in.
Thanks!
