Things are progressing slowly. All the warm weather is good motivation! I also wound up replacing all of the rear axle studs to normal threads with more length for the rota's. Next up is dyno mat and carpet. Then things should move pretty quickly.

After a nice little delivery from Classic Alfa (christmas in Feb!) the back end is all back together with new bearings, studs etc. the steering box is together and back in the car and i'm nearly ready to put the carpet in.

the short stretches of crazy warm weather we've had is really motivating!

I decided to back date the motor a bit. I don't run spica or a heater core. So the front cover and intake were wrong and the water pump had way to many outputs. All taken care of! Beyond that the harness is finally in and the carpets are going in. I'm nearly ready for this winter to be over.

Engine, I found some issues with the cam timing and the tensioner as well. Hopefully it runs better now.

thanks! by the way, i used fat mat for the floors. No idea if it will do what i want, but it did go in nicely. but i can also say that the carpet adhesive doesn't stick very well after painting it! that may fall under operator error

Race season is slowing down and the big woodward dream cruise is coming up here in detroit. I'm hoping to be ready (or at least drivable). These things are never really finished!

Ive begun putting the harness back in and wiring. I dreaded this job, but thanks to the excellent diagrams available it's gone pretty well so far. I should have it fired up this weekend...for the first time in about 3 or 4 years!

The dash is much rougher than i remember. That may be on the list to replace in the future. we'll see, i think they call it "patina"!

yup, it's alive! i made it down to woodward ave for a bit on Thursday evening. I think it was the only Alfa there.

Still a million little things to button up, but overall it's running quite well!
