GTV2000 (Concourse of course)

In order to enter this side of the port of Peiraias Greece and park easily for a cup of coffee i always lie to the security guys about a friend waiting for me at his Sail boat "Zeus" tricky little bastard aren't i?
The guy at the photo is me and the lousy cell wannabe photographer my girlfriend. The car is perfect in every way and looked after on a daily psychotic way. I also own a red 1750 a bit rusty which someday is gonna compete in The Historic Rally Acropolis. A 2.0 Twinspark identical to the one of Max Banks is being prepared...

Awesome car and a nice trick to park it in a "descent" area

You mean these photos were tatken with a cell phone? That's pretty good I'd say. Any idea what colour code your car is (..i.e. Is it one of the ALFA colours..?)

baging: Had a good laugh with the security guys , and i bet there's got to be a sail boat named "Zeus" in the port , money and ego go hand in hand.
1750GT: My girlfriend really HATES the Gtv , she sells cellphones and is a high-tech freak i think she used a Nokia the one with the double lenses.
The color is Spies Hecker Lamborghini Yellow , looks more like gold to me , and i think is the perfect color for a GTV,a real head turner, in fact i'd paint it the same thing again and again.

My ex-baby... I'd have to say on a 2000 with all that chrome that flat mid-dark shades look best (francia, red, olandese, burgundy etc) but each to his own. As expected - **** i miss my 2L. C'est la vie.

Here´s a shot of mine at the Metz Rallye Classic in Germany one week ago, wheels are 8x15 ET 10 Compomotive, tires 205-50-15 Marangoni zeta linea.
Color is "zinc yellow" (RAL 1018), not an original alfa color...

Hey nice paintjob JHMAlfa.
Did you get it done locally? I need a bit of light restoration on my AR349 paintwork and I've heard that the metallics are tricky to match so I'm looking for a good bodyshop contact in London.

hey cheers - yeah they are a pain which is why i went for having the whole thing done, as the paint had also faded quite a bit.

I used a guy in Hemel Hempstead, young bloke who has his own business and trained in Austrailia painting boats!

I have a copy of the chemical formula for the paint too (AR349 - surprising what goes into it - pink!) and the address of the guys who made my paint if u need that - can often be better to get ur paint done and take it with you, then u know ur getting good stuff.

Lemme know if u need!
