Need a picture of a convertible top part

Seems I am missing the rear bar that gets riveted to the rear of my convertible top for my 61' giuletta spider. The car has been fitted with the later 62'- trunk hinges with the hooks for the top, instead of the top being bolted to the body. I thought I supplied the correct piece to my upholstery guy, but he says no. Anybody have a good description or better yet picture of this bar?? Or even better yet, one they would like to sell ???
Thanks!

c'flyer,
That aluminum piece goes on the front edge of the dash, just behind the windshield defroster vents. It looks like yours has flat black paint on it, which I think is correct, but I've seen some that are unfinished aluminum. Can anyone confirm the correct finish for the piece?

I was way off the mark. Larry up at APE is sending me that rear bar from a earlier 750 that would have bolted to the body. He says all I have to do is cut off the mounting tabs and the bar will work just fine. Does this make sense to you guys?

Hi Jim,
Took me a minute to recognize that. I was looking for a part to the top!
Correct finish on most spiders was flat black, but by late '64, or early '65 it was a wrinkle finish like the steering column. The heat through the windshield caused the wrinkle to flake off over time. I re wrinkled mine once, and when it flaked again, did it in a flat black. It collects less dust, and doesn't come off. Recently I found a powder coat guy that can cook larger parts and does wrinkle finishes. If I ever do it again I would try the powder coat wrinkle.

Gordon,
Somehow, I thought you might have the answer. Since I'm not too partial to using wrinkle finish to attract even more dirt to the interior of a spider, I think I'll risk the point deductions in a concours and cheat with the flat black finish on my 65's . Thanks for the info!
