courtesy light wire color

1985 spider veloce courtesy light was dissassembled some time ago and I can't quite figure out which wire went where? Black is a smaller lug to ground no problem but the other two wires are 1. red with black 2. white. Both seem to have 12 volts all the time. One should go to the same end of the fixture as the black wire the other is the lug to the front of the lamp. Any clue would be greatly appreacited

Tom, first off you posted in the wrong forum - this forum's for pre-'65 Alfas, so you may not get as nice a response rate as you'd like.

Secondly, inquire with Papajam for a PDF wiring diagram on your car (PM him) - it's accurate, beautifully made, and free! He only suggests that you make a donation to the BB. Deal of the century.

I already have the wonderful wiring from Papajam and it shows the courtesy light but does not have the detailed position of the wires in question. thanks anyway and have a greata day!!!
