Giulietta gear reduction starter

Hello, has anyone tried to find a gear reduction starter for a Giulietta e.g. Tilton (modified/custom made/adapted from ?)? I've been looking for a Marelli starter for my car since the last convention without luck. Doug Brown

Talk to Subtle here on the BB. He had a bunch of starter problems, now solved and may have an answer as to what works and, more important, what does not work!

Don't know if he still does, but Jack Beck used to sell a gear-reduction set up for early cars. You may want to check with him. Like all of his stuff, it would be high-quality, but not cheap!
