Giulia Spider Windshield

I want to replace the windshield on my 65 Giulia Spider. I'm looking for recommendations on where to buy a new windshield, where to find a parts diagram, side posts, upper and lower bows, weather stripping, etc, and 'how to' tricks from someone who has done this before.
Thanks,
Harmon

Harmon. have you tried windshield, weather stripping, etc in the search link above? Here is a start: AUTOPEDIA&#174 - The AUTOmotive encycloPEDIA: World's Best List Of Alfa Sources(Mirror)

Thanks for windshield parts info.

George,
Wow, I didn't know there where still that many Alfa parts suppliers left. Unfortunately, most of them seem to be in Southern California and I'm on the other West Coast, in Florida.
Centerline gets good reviews in all of the lists; I've gotten the weatherstripping and will get the windshield from them. Now I want a tech diagram/drawing and perhaps some more advice. I've dug up some, like putting on the top bow last and tightening the bolts slowly and in sequence, like torquing a head, from following threads.
You guys on this Bulletin Board are fantastic, thank you !
Harmon

Harmon,

They probably aren't all in business but it's a good start. I also recommend Jon Norman, Alfa Parts (1-800-890-ALFA (2532) or (510)525-9435 1221 Fourth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710 USA). He is a good guy and has or can get most parts but he on the W coast.

Good luck,

George

Windshield and Alfa parts

I agree; I used to visit Jon Norman when I lived in the SF Bay area. He knows and he gets ! He even overnighted me a generator for my Giulia to Kearney, NE on a good ride from SF to Sarasota Bay, top down all the way. I thought he dealt only in mechanical parts.
I can also heartily recommend Oliveria Engineering, also in Berzerkely. Glen Veloced my 1600 Normale into 152hp.

I just fitted a Triplex screen I imported from the UK last month whilst I was in California. The screen came from Classic Alfa Romeo Parts & Spares Worldwide - Bertone, Spider & More and represented a good saving on the US prices. even including shipping and duty. They sell all the rubbers and fixing bits too.
