Voltage regulator question

In my pile of Giulietta bit I have a Marelli Voltage Regulator with the code stamped on it of IR 47A. The one for the Sprint/Spider is a 32A. What's a 47 for? Any ideas?

Giulietta parts book #776 dated 11/61 lists three Marelli regulators for all models EXCEPT the Spider. These are the IR32A for negative earth vehicles, IR32B for positive earth vehicles and the IR36B for TI police vehicles.
The Spiders were fitted with Lucas equipment.

I found the following listings for other Marelli regulators;
IR15A - 1900 Series
63 032 001 (no interchange to the IR number) - 102 Series
IR50D (63 415 004) - Giulia TI & Super, Spider 1600
IR50G - Giulia GT, GTC, GT Jr & GTV

I did not find a listing for the IR47A.

A few possibilities may be;
the 63 032 001 listed above is an IR47A
the IR47A never made it into the parts books I have
the IR47A was fitted as a replacement for the IR32A/32B
it's listed in a parts book supplement that I do not have

Jim,
Thank you for your reply. As far as I can see the 47A is identical to the 32A but if it was truly identical why give it a different number?
I will search 63 032 001 to see if that is the hidden 47A
regards,
