Well I finally found a very nice veloce for sale
It's a 1964, all original, excellant condition thoughout, no rust, 35,000 original miles, extensive history. But it will take $46k USD to buy!
Ouch.

If it's a 64, it must be a Giulia Spider. From the description, sounds like it couldn't be better. I have an original, unrestored, runs-great, all-documentation-from-new 60 Spider Veloce that, at the moment, I feel I will never sell for any price, I like it so much.

I have owned my '65 since, well.. '65. Couldn't get me to part with that Veloce either. 39,000 miles, un restored. Had a lot of other cars in those 43 years. If the car is good, the price isn't bad!
If you carefully watch the prices on the Sprint and Spider Veloces, ALL the good ones bring the big $. They ARE worth it. (just my opinion.)

That price doesn't seem bad at all if it's as nice as it sounds. Let's see some pictures.

IIRC, someone claimed that "left-over" arrived with a fresh delivery of new Duettos in 1966... Howzit now: owned since 1965?

Ok, Ok, ya got me . Now lets see . You are making me work now ! The Vehicle invoice says I bought it Dec. 9, 1965, and the car is titled as a 1966 Giulia 1600 Veloce. Humm? A '66 Giulia? And when did the first Duettos arrive? Right about then, right? The '66 Duettos were there with it! HA! I love it when you make me think about this stuff. All that dust and cobwebs blowing around in my head. Whew, what a rush!
Lookie HERE! An Invoice!

Anthony, wouldn't you think someone in New Hampshire should be in bed by now? Now you there, in the sunny west, are probably just warming up to the BB. But gosh, it's 12:40 PM here and my friends are shaking me awake to dig up hysterical documents and such.
By the way... I'm getting off topic here. Well... Yes indeed, the old Alfas are finally getting recognition, and as you all must know by now, I love them all!

A 1964 Veloce spider is one of only 290 chassis built. So this puts it in the more rare than rare category? Be sure to contact me off line with the particulars for the veloce register...might be a new register?

Thanks. I've sent you an email off line.
I've been waiting for over a week now to get access to the Yahoo discussion group via the link above and I'm still getting.. Your membership is awaiting approval by the group owner.
What are they waiting for? I have no criminal record

The price is not out of line for a good one, I don't think. Which is not to say it's not high. But so goes market-based capitalism.

Jim,
Come on lets see it already! Or maybe you would be smart to finish the deal before posting as someone might snatch it from ya. Anyway, I hope it works out for you and you can fire up the attachment option...
All the best,
