Correct Driver's Side Scoop for Veloce?

Is this the correct driver's side air scoop for a Veloce Spider? See the thin red metal piece in the grille?

The splitter in the Giulietta's is horizontal, it divides the space into an upper chamber, which feeds the driver's feet / knees, while the lower chamber, which benefits fron direct ram air, feeds the airbox.

I believe this is the same on a Giulia Spider

I spoke to someone who has one & this slightly slanted piece appears to be correct. The correct engine should have a 2 piece sump, the instruments read higher, the engine mountings are different, the Tipo plate is different, the inlet manifold & air plenum are different, the cams are different, the car should run an electric fuel pump instead of the mechanical pump.

Hope this helps
Regards
Greig

Giuliaguy,
I own 2 '65 Giulia Spider Veloces, I compared your picture to one of my cars and it is similar, except for the slanted vertical piece. Your's has a slight curve towards the top, it should just continue on with no curve. There are many other differences between a Normal spider and a Veloce spider. Rather that me listing all of them, please see Centerline's tech page at:

Thanks Tom. So it should be a straight piece sitting at an angle with no curve, correct?
