Alignment of Front Bumpers on Spiders?

Curious if it's typical to see the two front bumpers on Giulietta and Giulia Spiders out of alignment with each other. Most of the ones I've seen for sale recently, are a bit out of alignment (e.g. one is higher than the other, or closer to the center grille than the other). Were they perfectly aligned/spaced straight from the factory? Or maybe there was always some variation even when new?

Are both the Giulietta and Giulia Spiders hand built? Or just the Giulietta's?

Bumper heighth

Will try to scan a pix and send later (think I know where pix is located) about the front bumpers. In the late 50's and early 60's in So Cal it seemed that the only place that one could see a "factory front end" was at the dealership. It was very unusual to see one on the road that had not been "bumped". Mine, when bought used, had a crease from center of headlights and surrounds were missing plus center grille was gone - other than that the car was like new with 14,000 miles on clock. Drove it like that until USMC wanted me to leave SoCal, sold to a gentleman in Newport Beach, saw it about six years later and it looked the same.
Possibly the ones that were repaired were 'off' a bit in allignment.

So misaligned front bumpers are a sure sign that an Alfa was in a front end accident of somekind, eh? Any other ways to tell if a Spider has been "hit"?

Not always a sign of a hit... My bumper (admittedly the big rubber one) vibrated itself off because of the crappy roads up in my area.

Actually, I'm just asking about the '55 to '65 Spiders.

I know, I guess I was making a generalization about these cars being old and sometimes wearing themselves into other places than intended.

Best thing to check to see if the bumper has been hit is the area behind the bumper mounts. For some reason I've noticed a lot of really nicely repaired cars where they neglected to fix that part.

I think you have to remember that it's a two piece bumper system. Couple that with their age and you'll probably realize that any little bang or bump will knock them out of line.
