Corrrect sprint radio plate

I’ve searched through this forum and have been unable to determine the correct radio plate for a 61 sprint. I have a period radio (with a cracked plastic plate that I don’t believe is original) so do not want the blockout plate. Anybody have a good picture of one? I’ve seen plenty of spiders but nothing definitive on sprints.

Correcting mistakes of others

It appears as if a PO has gone the cheapo route; he used the blanking plate as a filler when a radio was installed. He also used the choke and manual throttle knobs on the radio thats really cheap!

Here's a pic of the correct setup:

Many thanks for the correct picture. I recently got the car.
I cant wait to find out how may other surprises there are.
I already discovered the liberal use of stop leak.
A recored radiator fixed that
Unfortunately the car purchase was not cheap.
Now to find the correct knobs. I just bought a face plate on ebay.

Hi,

Would you like to add your car to the Sprint register? All I'd need from you is your car's chassis number, build-date (if you have it), original and current color scheme.

Go the the "Sprinting About" thread : Sprinting About and scroll down the first post - you'll see everybody else's Sprints listed.

Thanks. If you could post pictures, that'd be great.
