It seems to have an Alfa s/n for the motor but then it states the original motor is not available and in fact has a Nissan motor. You're right, only on eBay.

What's the deal with "Willy's built"?

I think (sometimes I actually do think), that it was a CKD (completely knocked down) vehicle. I have never seen it nor know the owner and glad to!
Glad to now live in Motown Detroit, if I still were in Mexico, I’d hunt the owner for swapping engines!!!

That's actually a '57 Sprint, based on the Chassis & motor numbers quoted.

Still worth grabbing, (if the price comes down a bit), you can stick any 4 cylinder motor in there, while looking for a 750 motor.

Cheers

That Ni$$an motor could double as an anchor for your fishing boat, a win - win situation all round !!

I'm not sure if the car was CKD, or was built in a similar manner to the Renault Dauphines that were actually labeled Alfa Dauphine and sold in France in the late 1950s.

The car has been relisted for some reason in this new auction. One more day left.
