car-engine type/model confusion

hi all

fist, my car supposed to be and 1963 giulia sprint 1600 but yesterday i dismantled my engine and get confused:

block: AR00112*10541
crackshaft: 10500-02100
rod: 10500-02200
sump: 10102-01200-00

head: 10500-01500-00
camshaft cover: 10110-01510-00
intake manifold: 10500-01800-02

carb: solex C32 PAIA5

my father bought this car in 1967, and the previous owner said that he had run the car in competitions.

Is it a 1600 engine? or what???
are the parts of 101 and 105 series cars interchangeable??

i've already ordered 1600 pistons and liners, will they fit?? please help me to identify what tipe of car/engine i have....

thanks in advance

jose antonio

Greetings Jose and welcome to the Alfa BB!

The info I have shows that the engine in your '63 Giulia 1600 Sprint, model 101.12, is indeed the correct 1600 engine for your car. Fusi lists the engine numbers for 63 Sprints as 00112.06848-00112.11188. I can check the part numbers you listed if you give me a day or two.

thank you papajam!
i was afraid of buying the wrong size of piston/liners...they were already on its way to lima. but Im still confused about the mixup of the part numbers... i'll check the chasis number and we'll see if all matches.
thank you again,
