Brake Light Switch Sticking

My 62 Sprint brake lights remain on once applied and after brakes released. I'd like direction on likely cause and where to locate the problem - at the brake master cylinder or the switch located below the reservoir.

if it's the same principle that is used on 105's, it's a pressure actuated switch. So if you release the brake pedal, do your brakes release normally? If that is the case, I would suspect the switch. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to replace (on a 105, not sure about your Sprint)

I agree it is probably the switch. Replacement is a bit harder than for a 105, since the heat shield must be removed.
