Press-studs or turn-buckles??

Hi all,

Just running a quick poll on who uses what for their hood and tonneau?

I can see the benefit of having press-studs as they're more discreet, but they won't be as effective as turn-buckles.

What's the consensus?

Cheers,
Tom

My tonneau cover is held in the top/rear by a stainless profile, otherwise just hanging down by gravity.

The top has no turnbuckles. I cannot imagine where they would go. In the front there are latching hooks. Behind the door is those shown in the attachment. Sorry for the bad quality, but it's cropped from an image of the whole car.

Cheers Einar,

Those are what I mean by turnbuckles. I've ordered some today.

Mine also came with a tonneau that was secured by press-studs. I'm debating as to whether I even want to keep the tonneau.

When the weather is as rubbish as it is here tho you want as much protection as you can get!
