can anyone ID this motor?

I've not seen the letter J in an Alfa engine number before. If the J is a 0 (zero) however, a type 00551 engine is a USA version Spica fuel injection equipped 2l from 1972 to about 1974.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to answer. I am not sure of the J I thought it looked strange to me also. I received the number in an email. The motor has dual webers or delortos on it. That's all i know. Perhaps they have the wrong #. Is there any place I can research further?
