Sprint: interior trim (door panels)?

My 63 Sprint is missing the diagonal metal strips on the inside vinyl door trim. The ones just above the map pocket.

Does anyone know what these were made of, and how they were attached?

Hello.
I don't know about the Giulia, but the trim on the previous generation Giulietta Sprints was of a moulded light-guage chromed steel. They came with threaded fasteners that were placed at various intervals along the length. The fasteners could be moved (or removed with some difficulty) as they slid inside the channel at the back of the piece. I found a complete door panel in decent shape on Ebay and the other side trim at Alfa Parts Exchange, but it took some looking.

Where to find the fittings?

Great photos, thanks. They seem to be roughly the same kind of thing that holds on the chrome side strips on the Spider. Anybody know where to get fittings and a trim piece like that? The strip has actually got an AR parts catalogue number: 101.12.55.210.000
