"Giulia" FS in SF Chronicle
62 Giulia listed in SF Chron today, says 1.6 and 5-speed, excellent condition, nothing else. Presumably a 101 car, though it could be an early Giulia TI. (415) 453-1611. Not my car, but I'm curious to hear about it if someone checks it out.

I called:
Oh Man how vague can you get!
I asked about it and they said it is a Giulia. Again I asked what Mod. 2 dr, 4 dr, spider, sprint, hard top ect.
Then they said;" do you even know what Giulia is". I said yes and that the add is a bit vague. hard top or spider 2 dr 4dr.. They said its a 2 door. I asked again,,, then they checked and said No its a convertible.
well at least after our phone call she know a bit more about the car from a guys she thinks has no idea what kind of car a Alfa is.
Broker idiots.... Turns me off. somebody save this car.
What has happened to this world...............
Thanks for the Alfa BB heads up though Andrew!

Go look and post pics! No price! Make offer! Ran when parked! Rare! Appreciating!
Yes, a 1.6, 5-speed description is not much help, as it describes every Giulia made (except Jrs and some sedan variants). But it does cover every Giulia ever sold in the US.
I would have greatly doubted if it was a TI; there can't be many 105 cars left from that early.

I remember...I thought I'd responded? Sorry!
It's still for sale, now without the 1750 Berlina clock, and thus $5 cheaper than before, not including shipping.

The car appears to be a 1962 Giulia Spider with a claimed 79K original miles, red with black, being offered by a specialty dealership in San Rafael at $39,995. They also have a low-mileage 1992 Cadillac Brougham available at $49,995, in case the Alfa is gone by the time you get there.
No idea why the great mystery in the classified, or the evasive Q&A on the phone. Rather than providing free publicity for them in this forum, I suggest you Google their phone number 415.453.1611 and follow your nose until you find them.
Cheers,
Doug in Boise, Idaho
