Hello giulietta61! Thanks for submitting your info, but Andrew keeps track of Berlinas - I'm sure he'll catch this post soon and add you to his register.
That's a very neat color... is it Bleu Medio?

1960 Giullietta Abnormale
Greetings,
Here is my relevant information
1960 spider/white with black seats red piping
Chassis:149500.9338
Engine: 00102.2678
It has the veloce set up. With 2x 40DC0E2, airbox, headers and oil pan. I believe it was converted in the early 60's
A, question for the experts, I have the long style tail lights and a small turn signal indicator just forward of the front wheel well. Is that standard for a US spec car?

Very briefly, no, not standard on a pure US 1960. That said lots of things can happen in 48 years. Have you contacted Alfa to see where the car was originally delivered?

'60 Spiders
Hi kalkocz
We've got 1495.08930, Feb '60 and 1495.10990, July '60 and both have the small tail lights. Both also have the fixed hood and no cigar lighter - these seem to have been '60 quirks.
The red one is 10990, the picture was take while following in my '61 Sprint. The white one is 08930, taken en route home after we bought her & yes, we do drive on the "correct" side of the road in the Colonies
I'd agree with Gordon, can you see evidence of repairs inside your boot around the light housings ?
Can you post some more pictures ?
Ciao

Wow! Gentleman thank you for such a quick replies! No, I have not contacted Alfa but that is a good idea!. I imagine I can just search for the contact info on forums site?.
As for the tail lights perhaps I should have said deep lights. As compared to the 750F. I guess I have the normal 101 transitional ones. As there is no body work in the boot area.
Here are some pics I just took this AM. I have owned her since the early 90's. I am the third owner and it's seems to have a SF Bay area auto. My speedo is in miles. Also I forgot I have the 5-speed gearbox in the car.
Thank you for such a warm welcome to the forums.
Cheers,
Charles

Hi Charles
I think we all took your message to mean the larger later 101 tail lights.
Your car is spot-on to 1960 spec, except it has been converted to take the hook on bow at the back of the hood, the '60's were bolted through the rear deck & the hood is permanently displayed.
Ciao

Love those black plates. I'm in Calif, but my car came originally from Oregon, by way of Texas, so never had period Calif plates. It has YOM yellow plates now, but I actually like black plates better.
