Giulietta Berlina Body Question

Hi Guys

got some problems on the Body..

Somebody know a Source to get the metall sheet for the left and right side of the body? Im mean that part between the Nr.4 and the Nr.15. Nr.15 is connected with one screw to that part. Looks like is to much for me to handle it....

Also someone can take some picture about the side sill? I have no idea how they was connected 1960.

Would be nice if someone could help

regards
Rolf

Hi Rolf

I'm not quite sure of which parts you need pictures of, I think you are referring to the panel where the door hinges are welded to ?? I will take pictures of our Series II Ti tomorrow, including the A posts and the sills.

Part 15 is a thin metal cover plate which fits in the hinge area of both front doors, it's a decorative plate and has no function other than to make the hinge area look better. The U shaped cut outs on the side go around the hinges and the slot in the centre takes the check strap. It is held on with several screws = #16

Mine are off the Ti at the moment so I can take close up pictures of them if you need ??

Ciao
Greig

Hi Greig

my mostly biggest problem are the side panels..
(Black Lines). That if there is a source or someone that can make it i would buy.

Then i need some help on the side sills, no idea how it looks original. (Red Lines)
Both side are fixed some time ago in italian style..

Thanks a lot.

Rgards
Rolf

Hi Max

sorry, not really.

Have you some measure between the rear door and the body. I have on both sides a difference from more than 1 cm in the corner . But i dont know if it is the door or the body because everything was repaired..
Can you send me some pictures from the rear wheelhouse in and out?

Best regards
Rolf

You use the word "texture" ... I believe you are referring to the ribs or beads that strengthen the floor panels.
Yes, original panels had those beads.

Your project is a great undertaking.
You must correct previous poorly done repairs before building the car in a correct manner.

Saluti !

Hi Worti,

My Giulietta III series did not have texture in rear panels.

In front panels yes ...

I have not found signs of previous repairs
