15" magnesium Campagnolo wheels - how many versions ?
I have been offered some original Campagnolo magnesium wheels for my recently-aquired Giulietta Sprint but the seller is not sure which model the wheels were originally fitted to.
How many different versions of the 15" magnesium wheels were made ?
The ones offered to me are 4.5" wide - were other widths offered ?
Apart from the clips to allow fitment of hubcaps (Ti Super ?), what, if any, were the differences between those fitted to:
SZ
TZ1
Ti Super
models ?
Were they offered as an option on Giulietta Sprints/Spiders ?
Can anyone who has original magnesium Campagnolo wheels post some closeup pictures ?

15" Campys were available in 4 1/2, 5, 5 1/2, 6 bolt-on, as well as 5 and 5 1/2 knock-off styles (eg Sebring TZs). The smaller bolt-ons (4 1/2, 5) will fit well on Giuliettas. Original fitment of the 4 1/2 was TI Super and definitely had the hubcap clips, the others were usually fitted on TZ - not sure whether any of those had clips. SZ had originally Borranis w/ steel centers and aluminum rims but Campys were often fitted for racing.

I got this photo from the Yahoo Groups 750-101 Message board. It shows what I call the SZ wheels. There is a company in the UK reproducing these wheels. I thought I bookmarked their website but can't find it?  |

62 Giulia Sprint 101
Fiat 128SL (a bit dead)
Then:
1967 Giulia Super daily driver
1966 Giulia Super (part rebuilt)
1972 Berlina 2000 parts car (LSD donated to TI Super project)
1969 1750 GTV (oops, forgot about that one)
1965 GTA (OK, it was a slot car..)

I am specifically talking about original 15in Campagnolo wheels.

Hi crew
The replicas fit 101-750 cars fine No spacers on rear. and sometimes not on the frt. If You run Neg camber You can take some meat off the upper arm where the rim can touch.. Then no spacer....
If you use a spacer please get Hub centric spacers Only for the front.
And yes there heavy as much as a old steel wheel.

That website is out of date, and should have been removed by now.For the link to the new site and pictures of the wheels, go to 'After market wheel options' thread.It shows the alloy wheels that I am now making in 5 and 5.5 X 15 for Giuliettas and Giulias.Sorry for any confusion.

Hmmm, somehow the link I gave leads to his newer but outdated website and the link in your post (above) leads to his older website - but they both show up as RMR - The 750/101 Specialists in the search engine header... perhaps Chris can give us the correct link here, and pricing?

RM Restorations - The Alfa 750/101 Specialists should get you to the new site, if not, the link on the 'After market wheels' thread gets you there.
The wheels are die-cast alloy, heat treated for strength, and cost £175:00.
Again sorry for the confusion over the sites.
