Don't forget if you take it apart, you have to put it back together again.

"Capo Lavoro Maniacale"

As the Italians Masters would say. It is one of the best looking Giulietta Veloce I have ever seen, and I have seen a few. This car is a show winner, a true masterpiece. Your attention to details and level of professionalism is amazing. I can go on and on forever this work really tops them all. Best of luck on completing this "bella macchina" and enjoy every minute of it. You set an example for all of us Alfisti.
All the best

Thank you Ilan.

My plan is to drive and show the car for the first couple of years -- no trailer queen! then drive it everywhere. I restore British motorcycles for a hobby/business (I am "retired") and ride the p#%% out of them and they still look like new. If you take care of them and drive them they will last forever.

I now have the engine in and finishing up details. I will post photos soon.

Thanks again to all that have shared this journey with me.

Cheers,

George

I had the mechanicals done through Portland Speedometer Inc, 503 653-5548. I did all the cosmetics, cleaned the faces, new clear plastic number plates, repainted the black back rings etc.

Heat shield

Just a tip. Pay close attention to clearance on the heat shield while putting the engine in. I would suggest to just remove it and put it back on after the engine is installed.

Greetings, car looks absolutely terrific, congrats!

May I ask is that a spin-on oil filter, and if so, where the adaptor kit might be available? Thank you.
