Simpson has one as well. Found it on pg. 22 of the latest "Pegasus auto racing supplies" catalog. Look under Latch & Link Lap Belts. The snap in is $79.99. Look @ www.PegasusAutoRacing.com.

Hi all.
I am inheriting a 60 spider on which I will be completing the restoration which I will probably have in the next few months or so. I'd like to add some seat belts to it, which it currently does not have. Are most people going with lap only, three point or four point? What is the advantage of 4 point? I understand the risk of roll over, but it is more likely that one would not be involved in a roll over, thus the 3 or 4 point would be better suited in those types of accidents (of course roll bar + 3 or 4 point would be best).
although I am getting the car in the most unfortunate of circumstances, I am looking forward to finishing this project which my father could not and getting plenty of advice from you all in this forum. Thanks,
Todd

This thread tells most of the story. Some late Giulia's were factory fitted with both lap belts and mounts, some with just mounts, and most with nothing.
Essentially your preference determines what you should fit, depending on intended use, or desired safety. Your '60 spider was a car that was originally fitted with nothing.
You might do well to contact individual members with a PM to discuss why they choose one set up over another. My car has OEM fitted lap belts, period correct, functional within the intended design at the time. As my car is as it always was, any upgrade would detract from originality, unless I returned it to it's racing form.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Todd. In the near future I'm going to be installing a set of lap belts into a '60 Giulietta Spider. I chose to go with lap belts because they look more "vintage", should be easier to install (touch wood), and due to the rollover risk. I'll be sure and post some pics once I get around to doing the install.

I can verify the later Giulia spiders had seat belt mounts. I had two Giulia Spider Veloces; both titled as 1966, and both had the mounts (For Gordon, I bought the second Giulia from Knauz after the original owner traded it on a street Ausca Duetto. The original owner's name may have been Gordon Adamson, but I know the car was named "Rossina". I later went to Horst for some go-fast goodie$ when he had his shop in Libertyville)
Regarding 2,3 4 and 5 point systems; the current AROC time trial requirement:
" 3. An anti-submarine belt is required, since competition-type belts can otherwise cause severe injury due to the lap belt being pulled upward by the shoulder harness. The anti-sub belt shall be mounted to the car structure similar to the shoulder harness mount."
My memory is that Joe Benson had the sub-belt requirement added way back when he worked on the University of Michigan acceleration sled and learned of the submarining danger while doing seat belt research.
I suppose a person could shrug out of a single shoulder belt (3-point) in a rollover, but the 4 & 5 point harnesses don't seem appropriate in a Spider without some roll over protection.
