Front looks kind of like an early 1960's 2000 Spider. rear reminds me of an old Fiat 1500 Cabriolet. (see comparison photos) Maybe it got hammered in the back at some point and someone decided to get creative.

Why do people feel the need to dittle with Farina designs?

If you want a "Custom Job", buy a Karmann Ghia and a J. C. Whitney catalog.

Probably the owner, from Switzerland, carried huge amounts of nazi cash in the trunk, and A) wanted a trunk latch that actually worked, and B) wanted to be able to gas up without opening the trunk.

Strange. It has a Sprint badge on the trunk lid and a Sprint gas filler cap. Anyone recognize the rear bumpers?

They could be from an Edsel.
