Conrod nuts

I have some problems finding conrod nuts for my Giulietta Sprint Veloce 1961. The diameter of the conrod bolt is (about) 9 mm and the distance between the threads 1 mm. Does anyone know where to find original parts or a suitable alternative?

I know that ARP manufactures 9MM con rod bolts for VWs. Ferrari uses 9 X 1.0 also and I have used the ARP nuts & bolts with great success.

I too am a fan of ARP products, and they make rod bolts/nuts for 1600-2L connecting rods. I have been asked by several people for recommended sources for 1300 rod bolts, and have never been able to find a good answer.
Cstlhn, are you saying there's a cross reference to a VW part number that fits the Alfa? If so, that would be a great detail to post.
Alfanson, rod bolts are the most highly stressed connectors in an engine, if you can possibly find new bolts & nuts I would recommend replacing both on any engine rebuild that was still using the original fasteners.
So what do all you 1300 racers do?

Thank you for your advices. VW Golf 1600 con rod bolts and nuts seems to be a good alternative after some work.
