Thanks, Walt, got your info. down on the front page. I'll keep you informed if we organize another Giulietta drive this year in the Bay Area. We had one back in June, which we called the Giulietta Jaunt, and it went quite well, despite my having electrical and tire problems. If you can PM me your e-mail address, I could add you to my list of interested participants. Thanks.

Hey Patrick,
my pile is 1493-20379, a 1959 interim car that has been 1750-ized. Been in Northern California since new. Someday I'll put the original 1300 and transmission back in it.

Matt, I've entered your info.
Browsing the ever-longer list of Sprints in the first post, I realized that they're all Normales. No Veloces, anyone?

Hi Pat
You can add the first Sprint Veloce to your list to your list, I've just bought 1493E*06193, a '58 Confortovale. It needs a complete restoration.
These were an in-between run of approximately 200 cars (according to Tabucci), built directly after the lightweight 750E's and just before the facelift of the 101 type nose. It is basically a heavyweight 750 Veloce, with all steel panels & framed wind-up windows.
The Confortovale's ranged from around Chassis 06000 to 06611, (known car) with 2 different specifications being produced, the first up to about 06300 and the second up to 06611. see this thread - ¬¬¬¬ The Confortevole Debate!
A friend of mine has just bought the sister car, 06127E, which is in very nice condition, so at least I have an identical, (If 2 Alfa’s could ever be called identical), car to use as a yardstick.
Ciao
Greig

Congratulations, Greig! Logging your data in.
How about a photo both here and in the 750/101 Photo threads?

'58 Confortovale
It looks better than it actually is, floors are toasted & I'm now on the lookout for bits, need a 750 front grille, the aluminium framed bit around the windows - although Stuart will mail me some pictures of how he restored one & made these frames.
Anyone have 40DCO3 carbs lying around that you want to donate to a worthy cause ??
Suprise, suprise, it's resale red - my favourite colour..... This one will become baby blue.
Ciao
