First, let me apologise to Anthony for stepping into his thread. I should have started a new thread with my question. Sorry 'bout that.
Maurizio,
I checked with ArchivioStorico@alfaromeo.com and they were not able to tell me what color it was originally. I'm hoping someone can tell by the "original" paint on the dash. The "Acqua di fonte" color chip that GTD posted looks rather close. Perhaps a bit darker than I had hoped for. Now if I could see a picture of a car painted that color, I might be able to tell if it is what I want.
Thanks, again, for posting the picture and thanks to GTD for posting the color chips.

FYI: This excerpt from the 8-page Alfa Romeo Tech. Bulletin #0.00.024, dated 10-Jul-1961, applicable to all models and titled "Touching up an recellulosing all finished cars cellulosed with synthetic products (synthetic enamels)," shows what colors were available on Giulietta Sprint and Spiders (including Veloces).
It indicates that a Giulietta Sprint could have never been Celeste blue (a color available on Spiders only) but would be Iseo blue or Tornado blue instead. Therefore, Sopp's Sprint is most likely AR-320 Azzurro Iseo (Iseo blue, Ditzler/PPG #32211 and ALF320), as the Italian name AR-319 Blu Notte (Tornado blue, Ditzler/PPG #ALF321) hints to a much darker color.
But caution: I don't know if this list applies only to cars exported to North America.

OK; I wasn't going to take up the server space with these pics but perhaps they will answer a number of questions. Pick a favorite color and paint your car!

My guess is beneath multiple layers of "improvements" your Sprint is AR337.
BTW:Kann nicht gemischt werden = Cannot be mixed.

I believe GTD is correct that my "original" (?) color was AR337, but, Blue chiaro is not on the list that Tubut posted.
The picture I've included is "supposed to be" Tornado Blue, which IS on Tubut's list. If the car pictured is truely Tornado Blue, I think I could be quite happy with that color.
It's probably just wishful thinking, but the Tornado Blue in the picture does look a bit like what is on my dash.
On another subject. The ALFA is getting pushed to the back burner again. My "friend" who was doing the body of my Austin Healey 100M was taking advantage of our friendship and putting the screws to me since I have not been able to be at his shop as frequently as I planned (health crap). Healey will have to be finnished first-------dammit! Oh well, red Healey, then Blue ALFA....................................

AR-337 is a metallic color.

I was glancing over the Anselmi book the other day, and came across p. 70 which stated that Tornado Blue was replaced by Bluette on 8/1/1961. Just a factoid.

A little off topic but I would like to tap the expertise here...Does anyone know when Acqua di Fonte ("Springwater Blue", AR 701) first came into use on Giuliettas? (See the 1965 Glasso Paint charts). I'm leaning toward this shade for my 62 Sprint restoration, changing from the original white. There's a '64 TI on Ebay Italy in this color.

From Tech. Bulletin 0.00.024, it appears Acqua di Fonte was a Berlina and TI color from the beginning.

Just to muddy the water a tad, but Sopp's Sprint above looks an awful lot like AR348 LeMans Blue. The color is on a 1980 DuPont 'Euro' swatch sheet. I do believe 348 might be a bit muddier than on the Sprint, though bright sunlight can 'almost' make any color look clean.

This is getting interesting as well as confusing?!?!?!
On my computer screen, Carlos' sample of Tornado Blue looks almost black. All the medium to dark blues on tubut's samples also look almost black.
I would like to see a car that's painted AR348 LeMans Blue since color samples don't show up correctly on my screen.
I think I'll just go through all the pictures on the "picture thread" and see what I can find. Does anyone know who owns the bright blue Sprint that I included on an earlier message? I'm really starting to like that color.
A big "Thank You" to all who have taken the time to respond to my questions. I hope I can repay you by bringing back to life one sorely neglected Sprint.

Clarifying...
The shade of "Tornado Blue" is more or less the same as the Nivea blue, perhaps a lit bit darker and "greyer"...
