I agree with Joseph; the tail light openings certainly look like they correspond to a 101 rather than a 750. The same for the front of the car, for which the side openings are for 101 side grills rather than 750 eyebrows. The car would seem to be a '59 or later. As dretceterini suggested, post the chassis number.

The chassis is altered in the past...

But my restoration put the original form.

Tks

Best regards!

The chassis number, 1493 - 02095, does indeed correspond to a '56 750B. But the front and rear are 101. Strange!

Bob,

It could have had a front/rear makeover like Gabrielle Fischer's early Sprint.

Marco,

I guess you know there is a 101 series Giulietta Sprint Veloce under restoration in Funchal.

Marco,
I wold like to bet that the car has had some form of repair (accident, rust ?)and the then current front and rear wings were replaced with what was available from Alfa, which would probably have been the later type.

Dear Marco 750B56,
Congradulations!
I also noticed the front and rear fender remodels, but your car has the hallmark first series firewall of all handmade Sprints (1st photo). The sill openings below the lower edge of the body are left open, not boxed-in as on the post 06600 (6611?) 101-type closed sill bodies. I also notice the offset hole for the tunnel-case shifter, on early and interium cars that did not
receive a slpit-case (5-speed) 'update' in their history.

Cheers, Laurence
