Hello GTD;

Yes.

Because:

"The berlina runs a single choke carb, all other models have a twin choke, and the cams are a milder profile for more torque. You can swop the manifold and carb from the original engine to the Berlina engine, also the cams. This will bring it up to Sprint power output. I assume you have these items on your original engine."

Thank you!

Best regards from Madeira Island

Marco,

A lot of the items in that engine is replaceable, such as liners, pistons, rods, cams, etc. I wonder if that crank can be brought back... through some careful blasting perhaps? If you bought this engine for very little money, then it may have been a good deal; rebuilding a well-worn engine that needs a rebuild would probably cost close to what it'll take to bring this one back, and that well-worn engine would've cost you a lot more to purchase in the first place.

The numbers you supplied are for a 1957 Sprint or Spider Veloce. The pictures show a carburetor, intake manifold, cam cover, etc... for a 1300 Normale engine.

Anything mechanical can be restored ... for a price. You must ask yourself, Is it worth the expense to restore this engine?

Best regards!
