They look like mud flaps for the rear tires. I have a set for the Giulia super.

1956 Alfa mud flaps ARE rare!
The car may be a one off prototype for the later grille and tail lights! ;-)

I don´t say is original in my ´56 Giulietta Sprint.
I buy all pieces...
The mud flaps ( 2 ) are in the material.
Only the front and rear are remodels, but i restore to original form.

The firewall is known here as the metal that seperates the engine from the passenger compartment. It's where your chassis number is stamped.

Only the lights are not original....
But in my restoration project return to the original form.
