It looks great! I suppose that the blue colour is the original tone?

I think my SZ was painted that blue originally when it was hillclimbed in SUI. Too bad it was changed to red later, I like the color.

#81 and #99 are the same size headlamps.

The tape on #99 covers the chrome bezel making the appearance of larger lamps...

On a SVA, what is Aluminum, the whole body? Or just doors, hood and trunk?

Insoc, just the doors, bonnet and boot are in aluminium on an SVA,
Bjorn, your roll cage seems to have no forward bars running down the windscreen pillars. Have these just not been installed or are you not intending to fit them.

Stuart,
The rollcage is a four point, not a sixpoint. It's ok for FIA on these old cars.

Ciao/Bjorn

The restoration is on hold due/thanks to summer and I prefer to use my cars that are drivable. Just buying parts and collecting facts. Will be ready for the spring 2008 in racetrim.

Bumpers and eyebrows aluminum too? Great thread- I just discovered it. Love those color period photos of racing sprints. By the way, Bjorn M.- my Sprint is getting painted a pale blue almost identical yours- I hope it looks as nice when it's done!
