Jo Bonnier and Giulietta Sprint Veloce 1956

Martin, many thanks for interesting info and pictures, some comments:

MM and Nurburgring 1956, Bonnier used the same car without any doubt in these two races. Most likely the #01928 (red). This can be read in Bonniers own book published in early 60'sthat he used the same car in MM and Nurburgring.

In Swedish GP 1957, Bonnier used a very light coloured car.

My car was raced in 1960 and 1961 by Olle Rehnvall, Swedish champion in 1960.

I've been trying to locate a copy of the Bonnier book you mention and I'm having a difficult time finding it. Do you have the ISBN number or know of a copy I could purchase?

The book called "Fort, Fortare! Fortast?" in english: "Fast, Faster!Fastest?", published in 1961, of course, at Albert Bonnier Bookprinting. Don't know if it exist in any other language than swedish, no ISBN avalible in 1961.

This book give a very good picture of Bonniers early career, the giulietta Veloces are mentioned a least four times.

Sorry about the quality of the images. The legend says that it is your car in Bild 1, driven by Olle Rehnvalls at the '61 Kanonloppet race, but you can read it better than me. My SZ is in the second picture. Your car appears again in the magazine, Swedish Alfa Club Argang 27. Best of luck.
