Alfa Taso,

Why are the white and blue Spiders you show in this thread so low in the front? Are they your cars? How close is the oil pan to the road and how do they react in heavy braking?

Ours! Well, Hers. They're Raked Tires are 165/15 . Oil pan's way up there, ride's awesome, handling is flat and neutral, braking is unchanged.

Hardtop! This is my 101 when I went to pick it up. Hardtop is cheesy but fits pretty good, looks like a knock-off of the blue cars hard top.

My project

Here is my '62 Giulietta Sprint which is now up on jack stands being mechanically restored to driver status after being in hibernation for a few years. The plan is to have it running by the spring, we'll see!
It has a 1600 (single Solex) and 5 speed installed by PO. It is a Euro model that was sold in France under the Renault/Alfa partnership. I believe I am the third owner.
I will be installing a Veloce rear end for cruising ease. The trans is being rebuilt with lightened gears for years of shifting joy. Getting ready to go through the brake system and lower the ride height a bit.

Walt

I see you don't have to decide "which one to drive today ". You just clone yourself and drive them all at once ! Wonderful ! Great collection and photo!

Very nice, bertone1.

It's amazing to note the number of similarities in the exterior lines between this car and the Sprint GT/GTVs; it seems to be a simple "magnification of the same shape. Did the 102s precede the 105s?

Are those original-sized tires? They always look a wee-bit too skinny, a la Giuliettas, don't they?
