Dave,

I have searched online and it is not available as an individual article. The magazine is... "The Rodders Journal" Issue 34 pg 180. The article is called "The Double Deuce Coupe" Its about an old Michigan Dirt Track racer that my family friend Nick Hardie found out in the woods. it was just a shell, he had to buy almost all new metal parts to restore it. But instead of making it all new and shiny, he left all the new panels out behind his barn for a year and put salt water on it from time to time to add patina. Really great stuff, this guy could make the new 8C competizione look like it sat in a barn for 60 years. Im going to have him decal my old race car so its keeps its charm. Its definately worth the money to buy this magazine, the images are amazing and the journalism tops it off. Its one of the most professional magazines i have ever read.

Enjoy,

Phillip

Just found a picture of my 1960 Sprint Coupe while on camping trip in Europe, vintage 1961. I made the top carrier out of plywood sides with canvas bottom, hooked to drip rails. Worked very well camping with wife and daughter.

Pat, It's nice to see a car like this was used as an everyday vehicle.

took my Giulietta out for a nice drive on Sunday to celebrate its 50th birthday. According to the factory it rolled off the assembly line on April 8th, 1959. I hope I look this good when I'm 50!

I thought I'd revive the thread. Lots of really nice cars in here.
