I remember seeing that Sprint on eBay. WOW! You should really post some pictures here on the AlfaBB. I had saved the photos from eBay, but my old computer died, and I lost them! I was really inspired by those photos.
If I remember correctly, the car was an east coast car, which got bid up pretty good, but did not sell.

Thanks guys
The white 750 car is a very special car. and yes the blue SV was on ebay from the east coast, But was allways a west coast car.
sold new in LA calif. lived in San Diego most of its life and in 1989 Arron Couper of couper cars now in Vermount built the car to the standered you see. In 2000 it was sold from Concorso Italeano (sp) for too much $ But My Racing buddy could not turn down the cash. It went to Mexico To New Orleans and then to N. Y.
After 3 owners a Blown (spun rod baering) motor a trashed close ratio gear box with a blow up case a bad rear end and way to much roll stiffness etc ectect. not much worked any more, but after a lot of work even the back up lights work again. Its coming to gether well and after all that abuse the body is still fine. So she has a good home and is getting back to its former self. There are over $60,000 + in this car back in 1990. and in just 3 years with bad owners it was all torn up, some idit even drove it in some salt roads in the last 3 yeras.
Not bad but shock bolts and other things have the tell sighns of salted road use. But none of the owners say thay did it! But I new this car and up to 3 years ago it was a show car. Its very difficult for me to understand how any 3 owners can drive a car like this in the ground so soon. But on the other hand if it was still a driver I could not of afford it. And the ebay listing was a wright up my freind did on the car in the 90s, totally misrepresented!!!!!!, It was like that years ago but not last year on that aution. It took me almost a year to get the car back here in Calif for a proper Price. Glad you all like it.
Snidy(sp) thanks for the link. Most of my stuff I posted about 750/101 cars gets lost. PS My folks were married. He he.
Take Care guys
peter
PSS ther may be some photos today .

peter,
you are the man! your spider still drives me nuts, it's the most awesome true vintage race alfa i have seen! you should come out to las vegas and run the porsche alfa challenge. we are bringing a giulietta spider about as correct as yours so you would have some competition.

Cars
Hay Anthony;
Thanks for the good feelings , I feel the same way about that car she is a real ture one! and its just a absalute JOY to drive, the lightest steering with the most feel, Dang I Love that car.
I will not be able to make it down for that event. $ problems, not problems realy just can not afford it now. and I really can not wait to see photos from the event. wish you well!!!!!!!
I am not sure we would be running together. I still run the same amount of coils and diamiter springs the car ran in its last real race, It sits higher in the front and is very softy sprung compared to todays cars.
But hold on a bout 10 minits ago my doorbell rang. and it was the Ring car org. owners couson, and he found some old dusty Trofies and parts form the car! Holey hell , Ya F ing Hoooooooooooo!!!!
These were made in Italy, 1 is from a track called Delta Park Oregon, what track was that?
and the other is from Lake Tahoe Grand Prix OH ya . dang Iam on cloud 19 million!!!!!!!!!! thay had big trofies then. 1 has a GT 40 on it and the other is a Maser a6g somthing.
WEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The Kids at the show
The SV now has proper looking wheels. I loved the minie lights but the offset and 14 in. were just not correct for the car.
Sunday Alameda calif. Lots of nice stuff as you can see in the back round.
Enjoy
