Seat Back for a 750?

I have one odd seat back that is not correct for my 101 Spider and would like confirmation of its correctness for a 750 Spider. It is black with red piping and has the correct perforated center panel on the rear of the seat back. Please note the hinge points and the tabs on the bottom od the seat back. There are also some holes where some dort of bracket was attached in the past. These are at the top of the seat back.
I know this seat is not correct for my 101 Spider Veloce, but I'm not sure what specific years and tipos this seat is appropriate for. Any help would be appreciated.

Terry

I have the same seat in my 1960 Transition spider [Altissimo lights and bolt down top] . Same pipping and same dagger type- guide on the bottom.

The twin holes in the back are not on mine.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, guys. So I guess the consensus is that it is from a 101 transition Spider of the 1960 vintage. Any idea what it may be worth? It's in very pretty good original shape. No rot that I can see.

Terry, it would be something to take my eye off the ball... I think the number you had in mind is correct. Go for it.

Thanks, guys! I think we nailed it down. One responder even saved me the trouble of putting it on Ebay and made me an offer I couldn't refuse...

It's SOLD
