My new 750F and 63 Giulia

Hello everyone,

I have just buyed a lot of 5 AR as a collection from the same owner, since they are from 58 to 70, I posted a personal introduction of myself and the cars briefing in General Information under the name of "again an alfista". Now I am posting the cars on each category to start my education on each car.

Car #1: According to our documentation files, the chassis number AR 1495.05036 and the engine number AR 1315.31886 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce, manufactured on the 3rd November 1958 and sold on the 21st November 1958 in Caracas, Venezuela.
The body colour is black.

Car #2: According to our documentation files, the chassis number AR 376979 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider (101.23), engine series AR 00112, manufactured on the 23rd April 1963 and sold on the 6th June 1963 in Rome, Italy.
The body colour is red, with black interiors.

That said so,,,, I am sure I will be asking many questions in the process of restoring them and your comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

The cars are already in their new home and I will be posting new pictures soon. The ones below are from the day I found them.

Thanks Subtle,

I knew about the cars, but the previous owner loved them so it was pointless to ask him is he was willing to sell them. That was many years ago so 3 months ago I just heard that the family "might be" interested in selling the cars as a lot since the owner has died 6 years ago. I think I was at the right time in the right place.... Needless to say that it took me 5 minutes to be there and 3 months to convince them that they will be in good hands.... 3 days ago we close the deal and I picked up my cars the same day!.... I think I have a lot of work to do right now , LOL

Axel, congratulations. I am happy that the Alfas of Mr. D'Ambroggio are now in good hands. I saw the cars a couple of times in Valencia and was sad to see them under the inclement tropical sun. Unfortunately the scalino is in not so good shape, a lot of work in front. Good luck.
I am located in Caracas and I am an Alfa lover. If you are in Venezuela, send me a PM. Happy to give you my impressions and guidelines.
Congratulations!

Thanks VeloceaLfa, These find was in Venezuela. Alfa Romeo was very important in Venezuela specially in the 50's when the Venezuela Grand Prix was raced. The greatest driver of the world went to race with the most prestigious cars.
If anyone is interested there is a very interesting forum of these golden age in Venezuela racing at this link:

PASION A LA VELOCIDAD Y MOTORES :: Indice

Of course is in Spanish, but there are lot of vintage pictures and I can help with the translation if anyone needs it.
