Giulietta T.I.
Hello everyone,
I haven't posted much, but have been reading a lot over here for a while, now...
Mainly trying to learn about a specific model that hasn't been so well documented as Sprints and Spiders. It's undestandable that the sports models have a special atraction, but I do feel partial to a Berlina.
So, here goes... just bought mine!
Check out the pics at Giulietta Ti pictures from cars photos on webshots
just clik "take me to Webshots" when the doggy ad pops up (sorry!...)
Let me know what you see, what needs changing, What you can help me with... Parts will be needed!
for a start, the "Giulietta T.i." plate to replace the radio...

Bom Dia Mario
Welcome aboard the BB, very nice car, you are one of only a few people to have a Ti, they are quite rare today.
It looks like your car was originally white, now red. From the pictures the painter got carried away in the engine bay, as there is lots of red paint over everything - perfect time to clean up while the head is off the engine. The heater box should be black.
From the 3 grilles and narrow boot, I would guess the year is 1960 ?? Bob Cess, (member rcess), has a '60 column shift just like yours. I have a friend with a '60 3 grille narrow boot RHD floor shift out here - assembled as a CKD car at Car Distributor's Assembley, (CDA), in East London, South Africa.
I was fortunate enough to borrow a pristine '58 TI to travel across northern France on the 2008 Dijon Eurotour with the Giulietta Register & my wife & I fell in love with the car, so we're now looking for an early '58 TI to join the Sprints & Spiders.
Ciao

Greig,
Mario and I have been in e-mail communication, and I sent him some pictures of my '60 Berlina.

Except for a cosmetic respray (original color), the car is all original including the rubber floor mats, and still has the break-in instruction decal on the windshield and the dealer (Rome) plaque on the trunk lid.

Hi!
Well, it's nice to see a Berlina generating some interest, along with Andrew's.
In fact, the sprayer just covered everything... I'm planning to start work with the engine bay. Including a change back to original color. I'm not sure, but I think it might be the same as Bob Cess's T.I. (great looking car - you should post more pics of it, Bob).
Now, here are the number on it:
tipo: 10111
chassis: 128684
Mário.

I so wish my car was in this kind of cosmetic condition. Incredible. Sigh.
If you can get the engine number off the block that would be great too. Behind the distributor on a raised boss.
