How do you tell the difference between a 750 & 101?

I know the 101 is longer but it looks the same as a 750? I've never seen them side by side, is there an area in the body that is longer that is visible?

The 101 Giulietta Spider is 2" longer in the door, The rest of the body panels are basically the same. DB

And except for wing windows, smaller tail lights, no glovebox door, some different 1300 motor specs, and a few other significant differences.

What year did the 101's start, 1960? And while I’m at it, what does 750 & 101 stand for? My guess would be length but that doesn't work out very well?

Books have been written on it, and there was a transition period in which any combo of 750/101 pieces was possible. My understanding is the transition era began when the factory came back from vacation break after summer 1958.
