Lightweight arrives
After a couple of years it is great to have a something fun in the garage. Only a few miles so far but the nicest gear change ever and a overall familiar feel. That said plenty of projects ahead, but the track is still in sight. The first miles in California felt just fine and I suspect the it will get really nice. Cheers, George

I've been looking for one of these to "fall" into my lap for almost 20 years. Congrats!

Well I've had her out a couple times now and she is a neat car. A few needs (I'm up to two pages), but I can't wait to get it all sorted out. Bottom line is when I bought it I was pretty sure it was a solid chassis/body and that seems to be the case. Question is what will be the first event (?). I really love these small, straight forward, and nimble cars. Thanks for the encouragement, it helps as one wades through it all. Cheers, George

George congratulations, its a great car and I am sure the two-page list is very minor... but you have now emptied the UK of lightweights bar mine. Four have come to the US in the last year! What don't we understand?

I think it may be the other way around, and I'm afraid I may not keep up. Fun trying, but still not keeping up. All good fun. Cheers, George

Thanks for the comments above. The previous owner entrusted it with Steutel to handle the sale, which was smooth and painless. I've driven it around a bit and now have it in the shop for vintage race prep. First event is less than three weeks out. Hopefully everything in order by then. - GJ
