Seat back adjustment?

Anyone know if an early 750 Spider seats backs are adjustable for angle? I see no adjustment screw or anything ...

Thanks in advance,

Thanks in advance,
my '58 normale does not have them either. I believe that is correct, the 101's have them, while the 750's do not.

My 1957 750 Veloce has been gone since 1969. I do not remember it having any, but I could be confused or incorrect.

Thanks guys for the reply. I didn't think there was any adjustment but just took a chance asking. I would be so much more comfortable in the car if I could just recline the seat back a bit.

Cheers,

Tom,
Take a look at the tracks, and respective mounting holes. Determine if the front mounting might be shimmed some fraction of an inch to tilt the whole seat back as needed. Two much shim (flat washers) would not be good, but you might get the change you need with a small adjustment.

I have used Brad's technique in Ferrari's, building an oak, full length wedge that fits under the track. It supports the track, so it won't bend, can be removed or changed in angle, and painted black, is not noticeable in use. The only (sometimes) disadvantage is for the non-height challenged driver, your head can come close to the coupe' roof!
