Sprint Battery Mount?

Ok, a simple question, but I'm stumped and oddly there seems to be little in the way of posts on this particular subject-

How is the battery held down in a 101 Sprint? I assume it's with a top frame, a bottom tray, rubber mat and threaded rods (as these are sold widely), but how does it all go in? What about those side brackets with the angled rods? The battery area in my car has been reworked and I think some holes are missing. I'll take the simplest route even if not original. Pictures?

hi, this post might be all for nothing unless the 101 Sprint battery mount (?) was the same or very similar (?) as the 750 Spider, in the trunk. The bottom tray would have originally been welded to the trunk floor and painted over. The alternative to welding in a new tray of course, would be the use of hardware. Though not original it would be simpler to service if need be, just make sure the hardware is appropriately as strong as a weld. No flying batteries under hard braking. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks, Franco
Thank explains why replacement trays don't have holes-they were meant to be welded, it seems (in the Spider, at least..).
