Cool Clip On Mirror

The inside mirror on the early Spiders is too small, and I've been looking for some time. Also, the dimming feature had failed before I bought the car.

Digital Auto Dimming Clip-On Mirror

10.5 inches by 3 inches and it clips on in a moment so it can be put in the trunk when parked. No wires.

For storage, I took the box it came in and put a couple of layers of duct tape on it.

Lightbulb

I've put the mirror on my Turbo Wagon.

After dark, it seems to diminish just the head lights, but the rest of the field of view remains good.

I had some idea that it would dim the whole view as with the mechanical dimmer.

Will check it more tonight.

Thumbs up

Confirmed.

It just diminishes the bright lights in the mirror, leaving the rest of the field of view relatively undiminished.

It also includes a vibration damper, which at certain speeds seems helpful

Think it will be very good on my Spider.

Not that its driven that much after dark, but when it will be better than turning the whole mirror down and then trying find the best setting.

The main benefit will greater rear-visibility at any time.
