Looks pretty darn good!

My father got to drive the car today! He said he couldnt try to take the grin off his face. He was amazed with how solid it felt. No vibrations, very responsive the brakes were great, it shifts like a race car idles well and has a wonderful powerband! I wish i were there to enjoy it before it sits in the heated barn with its brothers and sisters for winter.

A really cool Stewart Werner (blue dot) (which is loved by hot rod guys all over the world) oil pressure gauge came with the car works very well and sits at a classic location.

None of the temperature gauges work. My father will have that sent out to be restored in the next few weeks. Any suggestions? (I do not want it repainted)

A few small oil leak's at the moment, most have been taken care of. Im guessing its due to the brand new engine.

The little windscreen that I acquired from Keith Goring works great! Thanks Keith!

Now off to some small details (leather hood straps) (gauges) (filling in the rest of the numbers)

I will post a video of the car as soon as possible and other info i have acquired of the car. Such as past drivers and owners

A thanks to everyone following the thread, this car deserves it and thanks you dearly!

Thanks again!

Phillip

Hello all,

Yesterday my brother and my cousin Harrison Fry took the race car out for a photo shoot. My cousin attends College Of Creative Studies in Detroit for Photography and Graphic design. Just let his work do the talking...

Thanks Harry

Had trouble uploading this one earlier. One of my favorites, more to come!

My brother said the sound is just amazing, 3500rpm and above is just music! It can be heard from quite a distance, just a whole lot of fun! Thanks for checking in guys!

Great photos of N. Michigan and the car and the hat makes it!

My brother has a place on Leelenau. I'll have to visit!

Anyway, anyone doing a restoration should take a ride in bare bones before tacking on all the ad-ons. I did this in my spider and had so much fun I ignored the loose hose clamp that was spraying anti-freeeze in my face. It was even lighter as we hadn't installed the lids. It was a real e-ticket ride. Has anyone weighed a bare chassis? I'll bet it is <1600 pounds.

Keep on flayling but watch out for the mounties. They frown on cars without windshields and license plates and those towns up there are dying for donations to the coffers.

The old racers are a blast on the street. I use mine quite a bit. Even the police give me a thumbs up! (As long as I don't do anything DUMB!)

Cool

Is that a side-exit exhaust?
