Well the POING didn't happen; I've misplaced my 3-lb. sledge hammer and none of the regular hammers made a difference. Other than that, the brake lines have been disconnected from the cylinders and rear axle, which is ready to come off once the A-frame gives. The front shocks are off, as well as the steering tie rods from the hubs. Next is carefully removing the springs, after which the entire front suspension assembly will come off easily.
Hopefully I'll have time to complete all this next weekend, as I've gotten together a small group of Giuliettas and Porsches(!) for a drive along the coast and in the mountains - will post pictures next weekend.
