Pretty funny, cause here in The Netherlands I actually have never seen a black spider and I am a member of this forum for 3 days now and I already seen at least two other nutters who did a nut and bolt resto of a black beauty

Coming from you I take that as a great compliment, just saw the thread of your restoration.. Cool...

I have been saying to myself that I am almost finished for three years now...I encountered problems that took ages to fix. If I have enough time I will make a thread of my resto. In the mean time I hope I finish in time to enjoy the upcoming beautiful weather...It has to be beautiful because I still have a top to do, really not looking forward to that.

Beautiful color but a nightmare to get them right in black (my opinion), because you see EVERYTHING!! every little scratch every bad piece of sheetmetal..everything, a lot easier to restore in white

Amen, wait till you get your doors on. Then you will see if everything is straight. I swear I would never own another black car, but it was a Veloce and was originally black. What can you do... it has to be kept original.

Cheers,

George
