Hi David,

I am at the border of Arizona-Sonora (USA-Mexico) twin citys ( Douglas- Agua Prieta, I am in the Mexico side, car has a US title, its been hard to me to make it mexican, so I have found another one that is original imported to mexico to the south of the country and I might sell mine to get this allready legal one, anyway I had it for around 18 years, interior was done by a friend of mine that actually does good jobs about 10years ago, hope I can include some more pictures.

Welcome to the forum.
I know what you mean about getting a car Federalized it's almost impossible.
I lived in Guadalajara for 4 yr with my 65 Spider, back in the '70's.
Do they still see 155/HR15 tires by BF Goodrich in Mexico?

Hi Frank,

I think they still sell those tires , as you know here because of the volkwagen beetle you can find a lot of brands on this size, most would think they are mostly cheap tires but they are many good brands also. Here you can see a spot of the "tornado blue", sorry it had some time wit out use and it need a good cleaning.

Your sprint looks very restorable.
Thanks for the confirmation that Giulia and Giulietta size tires are still readily available in Mexico.
Best regards.

Hi

I went to grease the sprint, and while it was up I took some pictures, it really need the limit straps!! ( next thing to buy), differential bottom was very oily ,all the little nuts that are at the bootom were kind of lose, so it took some oil there, exhaust was a home made thing, I actually shot a little video with my little camera while I was starting her up in the morning, but I dont know if I can put it here.

The solid mount of the rear muffler to the body must transmit a fair amount of vibration.

ok ,first time I learn to use you tube,I converted it, but image not as nitid now, hope it works, basically Im learning to use the little camera as I am starting the sprint in the cold morning ,750 doesnt have the front pump , you can hear the electric pump tiking, choke dosent function so I am pumping trying to make it catch up, I allready have the rear lens, but I dont know if I will start to restore it or sell it and get another one that is allready legalized here in Mexico that Im looking allready, anyway if some one is interested may contact me in case I decide, well hope you can see this:

Best regards

Daniel

I am trying to decide, I have seen posts of it but with so many tones somehow diferent than the spots my sprint have, also any one that may want to sell me 2 borrani wheels not perfect but usuable condition?
