GTA Door rivets size

Hi there,

i am in the process of building a pair of replica GTA doors with the at this time available aluminium door skins, replica door knobs and hoops. The doors will go on a Gtam Replica that i am planning to build. Can anyone provide me with the correct sive of the rivets that i have to use for the upper door part where the door skin is riveted to the door frame. In the Alfa Romeo Parts manual there are 4 differnt rivet sizes mentioned for the GTA in general but it doesn´t say which go where...

101.00.50.173.00 Rivet Head 2,4mm length 39,5 mm
105.32.59.429.00 Rivet Head 3,2mm length 43 mm
105.32.59.430.00 Rivet Head 3,2mm length 39 mm
105.32.59.432.00 Rivet Head 3,2mm length 45,5 mm

And it would be great if someone can help me with the number of rivets used for each door and what kind of distances i have keep from rivet to rivet and from the upper end of the door skin to the middle of each rivet.

Second question would be how to solve the problem with the door knob. What kind of lock mechanism inside of the door do i have to use to overcome the problem of having no push to open mechanism with the original mechanism.

Is there a chance to use the Giulia Sedan mechanism???

I a would be very thankful for any advice and i will present pictures of the project along the way.

Regards

Patrick

I don't understand....you bulding a GTAm replica but using aluminio skin which was not used on GTAm so who care about rivet size and spacing? Also, using tipo 10532 door loops and buttons on GTAm replica? These no used, why concern youself on intracate detail when final product is obviously wrong?Buono fortuna,no waist time on detail of inaccurate clone.
